
Buzzing Nigerian recording and performing artiste, Michael Adebayo Olayinka, widely known as Ruger has opened up on his first ever studio session.
Ruger is a Nigerian Afrobeat singer and songwriter with a unique approach to making music. He came into lime-light 2021 after he signed a record deal with D’Prince’s ‘Jonzing World’ Records. Ruger also has a publishing and distribution deal with Columbia Records and Sony Music Entertainment, U.K division.
The sensational singer, sonngwriter and entertainer in a recent interaction with fans and music lovers disclosed that D Prince was instrumental in his career and financed his first recording session.
Ruger revealed this during an appearance on Clout Africa’s Clout Talk, hosted by renowned comedian, Broda Shaggi. A fan asked if he had ever recorded songs before the CEO of Jonzing Records discovered him.
The ‘Dior’ hit-maker stated that he had never recorded any of his songs recorded before joining Jonzing World due to lack of money. Watch the video below:
